The Importance of Hogwarts Houses

It may sound silly to anyone who’s not a fan of Harry Potter, but knowing someone’s Hogwarts house can tell you a lot about them. For me according to almost every single house quiz I’ve done, even Pottermore, I’m a Gryffindor. If I really was a Hogwarts student I would ask the hat to put me in Hufflepuff because I identify with that house most (plus their common room is near the kitchens). I however also own both Gryffindor and Slytherin merchandise this is partly because I love all the houses, which is a very Hufflepuff thing to say. I don’t know what all this makes you think about me, but hopefully it tells you I’m loyal, kind, fair and loving.

This brings me back to something else I want to review, which is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Melbourne. I actually wore the Slytherin T-shirt I’m wearing bellow when I saw the play. This was mainly because when I read the script my favourite character turned out to be a Slytherin. Anyway more on that later…

Maybe I’m a SlytherPuff… Selfie credit me, ValleyLizard 2019

What do you think of someone when they tell you their Hogwarts house? Are you only friends with people in your own house?
